WEAPONS - GUNS & FIREARMS

  • Handguns
  • Flare guns
  • Blow guns & darts
  • Electric dart guns
  • Parts of guns and firearms
  • Gun lighters
  • BB guns
  • Realistic replicas of firearms
  • Shocking devices
  • Rifles
  • Shotguns
  • Pellet guns
  • Spear guns and darts
  • Starter pistols
  • Compressed air guns
  • Stun guns
  • Cattle prods
WEAPONS - SHARP OBJECTS

  • Knives of any length (except rounded-blade butter and plastic cutlery)
  • Razor-type blades -box cutters and spare blades, utility knives
  • Razor blades not in a cartridge (excluding safety razors)
  • Axes of any type and hatchets
  • Bows and arrows
  • Ice picks
  • Meat cleavers
  • Sabers
  • Saws (including cordless portable power saws)
  • Scissors (metal with pointed tips)
  • Screwdrivers (except those in eyeglass repair kits)
  • Sword canes and umbrella swords
WEAPONS - CLUB-LIKE ITEMS

  • Baseball bats
  • Blackjacks
  • Cricket bats
  • Golf clubs
  • Hockey sticks
  • Night sticks
  • Ski poles
  • Billy clubs
  • Brass knuckles

  • Hammers
  • Lacrosse sticks

  • Tools (including, but not limited to, pliers and wrenches)
  • Martial arts weapons (including numchucks and kubatons)
 
EXEMPTIONS

MEDICAL SUPPLIES:

Needles and syringes are exempt from the prohibition of passenger also has in their possession medication requiring the use of a needle or syringe that has a professionally printed label identifying the medication or a manufacturer's name of pharmaceutical label.

CABIN CREW MEMBER:

Operational cabin crew members may have an item listed in this document, if the air operator issued the item for the aircraft and if the item is kept under control while passengers are present.

EXPLOSIVES
  • Dynamite, TNT and other explosives found in the form of sticks, slabs or blocks.
  • Plastics explosives
  • Gun powder
  • Flares in any form
  • Fireworks
  • Ammunition, cartridges, shells (loose or in clips)
  • Hand grenades and pipe bombs
  • Blasting caps, safety fuse and blasting wire
  • Attaché cases, cash boxes or cash bags, etc. incorporating dangerous goods such as lithium batteries and /or explosive material
DANGEROUS SUBSTANCE - INCENDIARIES
  • Acids, such as wet-cell batteries, chemicals
  • Corrosives, such as household oven or drain cleaners, bleach
  • Aerosols (except for personal care of toiletries in limited quantities)
  • Fuels (including cooking fuels and any flammable liquid fuel)
  • Gasoline
  • Gas torches
  • Turpentine and paint thinner
  • Strike-anywhere matches
  • Lighters of any type
DANGEROUS ARTICLES & DISABLING CHEMICALS
  • Chlorine for pools and spas
  • Compressed gas cylinders (including fire extinguishers)
  • Liquid bleach
  • Mace
  • Pepper Spray
  • Spray paint
